This is how I am related to Benedict Arnold

Tench Francis  [1702 - Dublin, Ireland -14 August 1758]  father of Turbutt Francis 1740 - 1797 as mentioned above. Tench Francis is the father of Margaret Francis [August 17, 1735 - May 28, 1794] Margaret married Edward Shippen IV [February 16, 1729 - April 15, 1806].

Margaret and Edward had 2 daughters

1. Elizabeth Shippen 1754 - 1828

2. Margaret 'Peggy' Shippen

Birth 11 June 1760 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Peggy married  the famous Benedict Arnold IV on 8 April 1779 in Philadelphia, after his first wife, Margaret Mansfield [b. April 24, 1745] died June 19, 1775 in New Haven, Connecticut.

Benedict had 3 sons with Ms. Mansfield before she died. Benedict and Peggy had four sons and two daughters together.
