The last report on the #RockyFire, #Jerusalemfire almost contained

The last report on the #RockyFire, #Jerusalemfire almost contained

This is my last post on the #Rockyfire and the #Jerusalem fire.
Good news that the #Rockyfire is 100% contained as of August 14, 2015 6:15 pm.
Final report on the Rocky fire is:

Last Updated: August 14, 2015 6:15 pm   FINAL
Date/Time Started: July 29, 2015 3:29 pm
Administrative Unit: CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit
County: Lake, Yolo & Colusa Counties
Location: near Morgan Valley Road and Rocky Creek Road, east of Clear Lake
Acres Burned - Containment: 69,438 acres - 100% contained
Estimated - Containment: August 13, 2015

Structures Destroyed: 43 residences, 53 outbuildings destroyed; 8 structures damaged.
------------------------------------------------------------

The #Jerusalemfire is 78% contained as of  August 15, 2015 at 7:00 am.

The Jerusalem fire has burned 25,146 acres. Four residences and 13 outbuildings were destroyed.  Estimated 100% containment is expected in a few days on August 17, 2015.

So that concludes my posts about the two main fires in Lake county that were in my daughter's town.
Thank goodness no people were harmed or died.  I did hear of two different firefighters who died fighting the fires this season.

There was a lot of spot fires as well in and around the three or four counties around Lake County. One just yesterday that was about 10 acres.

The fire season is not over yet.
I pray that rain will come soon.
Thankful for all the volunteers, firefighters, National Guard, and Prison Inmates who fought the fires and continue to do so.
There are many fires in Oregon, Washington and many of the Western United States.

This four year drought was the main cause of these fires.
The weather has been very odd as of late with flooding in many places of the USA, snow in upstate New York in August, large hail in the Calgary area of Canada.
There was snow in Austrailia which is in the winter season now, but snow in an area where there has not been recorded snow in something like 70 years.

The Earth has a great deal of changes as of late.

We shall see what happens in the next few months.

Day 17 of the Rocky Fire and Day 6 of the Jerusalem Fire

Updates for The Rocky Fire and the Jerusalem Fires in Lake County August 14, 2015

Cal Fire is reporting that the ‪#‎JerusalemFire‬ has grown to 24,555 acres with 52-percent containment, while the ‪#‎RockyFire‬ remains at 69,438 acres and 95-percent containment.

Story and Map Here  from Lake County Newspaper

I have been devoting my time of late to fixing my laptop. I still have some issues with some pages but I added 5 different ad blockers and Malware checkers. I still did not get rid of the DNS Uploader!

I am very unhappy with it. I may have to reboot my laptop and wipe the hard
drive.
That will be hard to do. My photos and files I am sure are infected.
So we shall see what I can do.

In the mean time I have added a total of 20 stories of family recipies and my crafts to the Jaquo.com magazine.

Malware attacked my computer!

Stars and Stripes!

I was doing three things new yesterday and one of them had a malware attached to it.  So it is going to be quite a chore to get rid of this DNS UpLoader program OFF MY COMPUTER!  It takes your words and makes a link of them which pop ups ads that you do not want to see.
The first thing I did was find some Pinterest Patterns for my granddaughter who wanted to have a patern of a bunny to learn to sew.  She selected one and I went to the website and  clicked on the link to download the pattern.  Usually Pinterest has pins reported that are containing something that leads to spam and malware. Well this one was not marked.  I tried to go back in and mark it as spam but could not find how to do that.

The second thing I did was set up a PayPal account which should have been safe.
After I set that up I made a payment set up for a subscription to a reputable site.
So I am thinking it was the firs because that is when I started to get warning messages from Avast.

So I found one of the ads which now appear all over my computer and my blog.

DO NOT CLICK ON ANY ADS THAT SAY DNS UPLOADER!

I will be working on that to rid my computer of it.  I will not be doing any updates or links because the posts are all inclusive of these MALWARE ADS!  ARGGH! :(
